The Paid to Wait Strategy

Our Paid to Wait Strategy consists of owning a broadly diversified portfolio of select sovereign bonds, corporate bonds (investment grade and high yield), real estate investment trusts (REITs), dividend paying equities, and infrastructure assets. This approach is designed to take advantage of the most attractive yield opportunities in the world, while maintaining a conservative risk/return profile. Individual investors gain access to yield producing investments that otherwise would only be available to institutions.

Interest rates are at all-time lows. Investing in guaranteed investments will turn no profits. In fact you, will lose money to inflation. Investing in guaranteed products will also lock up your capital, and have a significant opportunity cost as some of the biggest investment opportunities in history are among us (for those who are patient).

Our paid to wait strategy provides a great alternative to locking your money up in GIC’s as you are involved in the market, participating in the long-term growth, while getting paid in the meantime. Our paid to wait portfolios pay an income of 5% - 7% per year with substantially less risk and volatility than the market. If your money is non-registered we have the ability to structure the investment to defer tax on the income, or give it preferential tax treatment.
